Terms of Service
Last updated: October 13, 2026
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Liquid Birds. They apply to your use of liquidbirds.com and everything we offer through it. By using the Service or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. About us and these Terms
The Service is provided by Liquid Birds ("Liquid Birds", "we", "us" or "our"), a business operated by a sole proprietor in Ontario, Canada. "You" means the person using the Service. Our Refund Policy and What we can’t film page form part of these Terms.
2. Who can use the Service
You must be at least 18 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live, to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you are. You are responsible for all activity carried out with your orders and links.
3. What the Service is, and what it isn’t
Liquid Birds turns your description of a dream into a short film made with artificial intelligence. It is an entertainment product, made for fun.
The Service is not therapy, counselling, dream interpretation, psychological analysis or any kind of medical, health or professional service, and nothing it produces is advice. If you are worried about your sleep, your dreams or your wellbeing, please speak to a qualified professional.
4. AI-generated results
Films are created by AI systems that we do not fully control. You understand and agree that:
- results are unpredictable, and your film may not look, sound or feel like your dream or like the shot list;
- films may contain mistakes, distortions, odd details, unexpected images or sounds, visual artifacts, shorter scenes or other imperfections;
- AI may produce similar results for other people, and your film is not guaranteed to be unique;
- the shot list you see before paying is a plan, not a guarantee of what will appear on screen; and
- making a film can take longer than estimated, and occasionally a film, or part of one, cannot be made.
Mistakes will happen. These are normal features of AI generation and are not defects in the Service.
5. Your dreams and content rules
Your content. You keep ownership of the dream descriptions and recordings you submit ("Your Content"). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, copy, process, translate and transmit Your Content, including through our service providers, only as needed to provide the Service to you, keep it secure and meet our legal obligations.
Your promises. You promise that Your Content is yours to submit, that it does not break any law or anyone else’s rights, and that it follows these rules. You must not use the Service to create, or try to create, content that:
- is sexual or sexually suggestive, or involves nudity;
- involves or appears to involve anyone under 18 in any harmful, sexual or exploitative way;
- shows or names a real, identifiable person, including public figures, or imitates a real person’s voice or likeness;
- infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights, including well-known characters and brands;
- promotes violence, terrorism, self-harm, hatred or discrimination, or harasses, threatens or defames anyone; or
- is otherwise illegal, deceptive or harmful.
You must also not misuse the Service, including by trying to get around our content checks or human check, using bots, scrapers or automated means, overloading the Service, reselling it, or interfering with its security.
Our checks. We use automated and manual checks and may refuse, change the wording of, stop or remove any request or film, at any time and at our discretion, including where we believe it breaks these Terms or our providers’ rules. We are not obliged to film any particular dream.
6. Your films
Subject to these Terms and payment for your order, you may download, keep, show and share your film for personal, non-commercial purposes. To the extent we have any rights in your film, we grant you those rights for that use. AI-generated material may not be protected by copyright in some countries, and we make no promise that you can stop others from copying it.
Films include an invisible watermark identifying them as AI-generated. You must not remove it or present your film as real footage of real events or people.
Your film is available for 30 days after it is ready. After that it is deleted, together with the dream it was made from. Please download any film you want to keep. We are not responsible for keeping backups or for films lost after that time.
Your film page can be opened by anyone who has its link. You are responsible for who you share it with.
Refunded films. Delivered films are not refundable (see our Refund Policy). If, in a rare case and at our sole discretion, we refund a film, your right to use it under this section ends on the date of the refund. You must stop showing or sharing it and delete any copies you have. We may remove the film, its share link and its preview from the Service at any time after a refund. From the date of the refund, you give Liquid Birds a worldwide, permanent, royalty-free licence to keep, copy, use, edit, show and share the film for any purpose, including as an example of our work, in demos and in advertising, and to present it as our own work, without credit or payment to you. This does not cover your dream description, which stays yours, and we never show your name or email address with the film. See our Refund Policy.
7. Orders, prices and payment
- The price is shown before you pay and is based on the length of film you choose. Prices are in the currency shown at checkout. Any taxes that apply are shown at checkout or included.
- Payments are handled by Stripe and PayPal. When you order, your payment method may be authorized (held) for the order amount. You are charged only after your film is made, and only for the length actually delivered, which may be less than the amount held. If no film is delivered, the hold is released and you are not charged.
- A contract for your film is formed when we confirm your order by email.
- We may refuse or cancel any order, for example if we suspect fraud, a pricing error or a breach of these Terms. If we cancel, you will not be charged, or you will be refunded.
8. Refunds and cancellations
Each film is made to order, and making it costs us real money as soon as it starts. Our Refund Policy explains when a refund is available. In short: if a problem on our side means no film is delivered, you are not charged; once a film has been delivered, it is not refundable, including because it does not match your dream or expectations.
Right of withdrawal. Where you have a legal right to cancel a purchase of digital content within a period of time (for example in the EU or UK), you ask us to start making your film immediately when you place your order, and you agree that you lose that right once production begins.
Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded by contract.
9. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or stop all or part of the Service at any time, including prices, features, lengths, styles and the AI models we use. We do not promise that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, timely or error-free.
10. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties, including Cloudflare, Google, Stripe and PayPal. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them, for their availability or for their actions.
11. Our intellectual property
The Liquid Birds name, logo, parrot artwork, website design, text and software belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. Apart from your films, as described in section 6, these Terms do not give you any rights in them.
12. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and all films are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties or conditions of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranties or conditions of merchantable quality, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement and quiet enjoyment. We do not warrant that films will meet your expectations or match your description.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Liquid Birds will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or enjoyment, or for emotional distress, however caused, even if we were told it might happen; and
- our total liability for all claims relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us for the order the claim relates to.
Some places do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
14. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Liquid Birds from any claims, losses, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms or of anyone else’s rights.
15. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access to the Service, refuse orders or delete content at any time if we reasonably believe you have broken these Terms or the law, or to protect the Service, our users or others. Sections that by their nature should continue after these Terms end, including sections 5, 6, 11 to 14, 16 and 18, will continue.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict of law rules. Subject to the next paragraph, the courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of that country and may be able to bring proceedings in your local courts.
Before starting any formal claim, please contact us at legal@liquidbirds.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it informally. Most concerns can be settled quickly this way.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. The Terms in effect when you place an order apply to that order. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
18. General
- These Terms, together with the pages they refer to, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
- If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
- If we do not enforce a right, we have not waived it.
- You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours, for example if the business is sold.
- We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages at our providers.
- These Terms are written in English. Any translation is for convenience only, and the English version applies.
