Making your film
How does Liquid Birds work?
You describe a dream, we turn it into a shot list of scenes, camera moves and sound, and you check it before paying. Then each scene is filmed with AI and joined into one film. See How it works.
How long does it take?
Usually about 15 minutes. Longer films are made in several reels and joined together, so they can take 30 minutes or more. Your film page shows every step as it happens, and you can close it and come back with the link in your email.
How long can my film be?
From 8 seconds up to 3 minutes. Films up to 36 seconds are one reel; longer films are made from several reels joined with a cut between them.
Can I describe my dream in another language?
Yes. Type or speak in any language, or mix a few. The shot list is shown back to you in your language.
Can I speak instead of typing?
Yes. Tap the microphone under the box, talk, and tap the tick. Your words appear in the box, ready to edit. The recording itself is never kept.
What is the shot list?
It’s the plan for your film: each scene, what the camera does and what you’ll hear. You see it before paying, so you know what we’ll try to film.
What do Portrait, Landscape, Color, Sepia and Dreamy mean?
Portrait is tall, for phones; Landscape is wide, for screens. Color is natural colour, Sepia gives old-photograph brown tones, and Dreamy is washed out with a soft white glow around the edges.
Does my film have sound?
Yes. Each scene is generated with sound to match it, such as voices, footsteps, wind or rain.
What if the film isn’t like my dream?
AI reads dreams its own way, and mistakes happen. That’s part of the fun. You see the shot list before you pay, but the film itself can still surprise you.
Payment and refunds
How much does it cost?
The price depends on the length, from $1.86 for 8 seconds up to $28.45 for 3 minutes (USD). You see the exact price before you pay.
When am I charged?
Your payment is only held when you order. You’re charged after your film is made, and only for the length we deliver.
Can I get a refund?
If something fails on our side and no film arrives, the hold is released and you pay nothing. Once a film is delivered it can’t be refunded, because making it costs us real money. In rare cases we may choose to make an exception; if we do, the film is no longer yours to use and Liquid Birds may use it as our own. See the Refund policy.
How can I pay?
By card, Apple Pay or Link through Stripe, or with PayPal.
Do I need an account?
No. There’s nothing to sign up for. Your order email has the link to your film.
Why does a longer film cost so much more?
Film is generated in short takes. A one-minute film is eight separate takes stitched together, so it costs us roughly eight times what a single take does.
Your films and privacy
Who can see my dreams?
Only people with your film’s link. We don’t use your dreams to train AI. Both are deleted 30 days after your film is ready, so download it if you want to keep it. To have them deleted sooner, email privacy@liquidbirds.com.
How long is my film kept?
30 days from when it’s ready. Download it to keep it for good.
I lost the link to my film. What do I do?
Use Find my film with the email you paid with, and we’ll email you the links.
Can I share my film?
Yes. Tap Share link under your film. Anyone you send it to can watch it, so share it with care.
Can I use my film for business or ads?
Films are for personal, non-commercial use. See the Terms of Service.
Is my film marked as AI?
Yes. Every film carries an invisible watermark identifying it as AI-generated.
What can be filmed
Can I put someone real in it?
Not a famous or recognisable person. Describe them instead and you’ll get someone dreamlike who rhymes with them. People from your own life, like your mom or your boss, are fine.
Why was part of my dream highlighted?
We can’t film sexual content, real recognisable people or children on screen. Highlighted words usually come with a one-tap swap. See What we can’t film.
Are scary or dark dreams OK?
Yes. Monsters, chases, falling, storms, ghosts and swearing are all fine. Very graphic violence may be refused by the video system, so keep it dreamlike.

Is this therapy or dream analysis?
No. Liquid Birds is an entertainment product. It isn’t therapy, dream analysis or a medical service.
